SARAH LANG
DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE & PRODUCER
Sarah Lang was born in Narrm in 1993 and has been glued to the TV ever since. After graduating with a Bachelor of Film and Television in 2013, Sarah worked as crew in the production and script departments of series such as Underbelly: Fat Tony & Co, Wolf Creek, 8MMM: Aboriginal Radio, The Weekly with Charlie Pickering and Get Krack!n’.
In 2017, Sarah joined Princess Pictures as development executive, working across the entire live action and animated slate, cultivating an eclectic range of original TV, feature film and online concepts. Sarah was script editor and later co-script producer on three seasons of How to Stay Married (Network Ten) and wrote three episodes of the sitcom. Sarah also served as associate producer overseeing development of YOLO: Silver Destiny (Adult Swim/HBO Max). Outside of Princess, Sarah is the producer of four seasons of popular queer short-form series The Formal, financed by Screen Australia, including a special five minute animated episode. As a young queer woman, Sarah is passionate about creating surprising and authentic content for modern Australian audiences.
