THE FORMAL is a schoolyard mockumentary series following two very different girls as they plan the biggest night of the year, nay, the biggest night of their lives: the Year 12 Formal. While Monique feels the pressure to plan the perfect event, Hannah is more focused on her developing crush on Monique.
Princess Pictures developed and produced Series 1 of The Formal with support from Tiktok. Later seasons were produced by Sarah Lang for Monique Terry and Hannah-Rae Meegan’s Slag Productions with assistance from Screen Australia.
